Using FTP to Send Console Commands

You can create a text file (.txt) that contains multiple console commands,
and then you can FTP the text file to EasyLAN Wireless.
To use FTP to send a text file
1 On your PC, use Windows Notepad or another text editor to create a
text file that contains the console commands.
2 Save the text file (.txt).
3 From a system prompt, type:
FTP ipaddress
where ipaddress is the IP address or name assigned to EasyLAN Wireless.
4 When prompted for a username, press Enter. A username is not
required.
5 When prompted for a password, type the console password and press
Enter. The default password is

on page 91.

6 From the FTP prompt, type:
put pathname\filename.txt console
where:
pathname
is the location of the text file.
filename.txt
is the name of the text file.
7 Type
and press Enter to exit.

Example
Save this information in the c:\temp directory as ip.txt.
set ip subnet 255.255.255.0
set ip router 192.168.0.1
set ip method static
set netware disable
save
exit
From the FTP prompt, type:
put c:\temp\ip.txt console
The EasyLAN Wireless you are logged into is updated with the new
TCP/IP information.
