Open the front and right-hand doors.

The EasyCoder 601 XP can print labels, tickets, tags etc. using ei-
ther direct thermal printing on special heat-sensitive paper or ther-
mal transfer printing using a special ink-coated ribbon.
The thermal transfer printing allows a wide range of reciving face
materials to be used. Make sure to select a type of transfer ribbon
that matches the type of receving face material to be used (see Ap-
pendix 2 "Media Specifications") and to set up the printer accord-
ingly (see chapter 7 "Setting Up the Printer").
Transfer ribbons do not smear at room temperature.
NOTE!
Only original transfer ribbons from Intermec must be used, or the
printhead warranty will be invalidated.
