WARNING:
Do not combine venting components from
different venting systems.
However use of the the AstroCap
Riser is acceptable with all systems.
This product has been evaluated by Intertek for
using a Rigid Pipe Adaptor in conjunction with
Duravent Direct-Vent Pro, Selkirk Direct-Temp,
Ameri Vent Direct, ICC Excel venting, Olympia
Ventis, and Security Secure Vent systems. Use
of these systems with the Rigid Pipe adaptor
is deemed acceptable and does not affect the
Intertek WHI listing of components.
Note: If an offset is necessary in the attic or
floor joists it is important to support the vent
pipe every 3 feet to avoid excessive stress
and sagging of the vent pipe. Wall straps
are provided (3 in total) for this purpose. All
round/plumbers strapping may also be used
if further supports are required.
