Logging On to the Windows Admin Mode
This section describes how to log on to the Windows Admin Mode (red screen).
After the administrator completes the Initial System Startup and reboots the device, the
device goes directly into a Windows Kiosk Mode account. This account, called Kiosk
User (KioskUser), enables the "Kiosk" mode. You can access the Windows Admin
Mode log on screen from the Administrator Settings button on the Home screen.
If this is your first time logging on to the device, you must enter a new password to
access the Administrator Settings. See
IMPORTANT
Be careful when you perform operations in the Windows Admin Mode. Any
procedures that are not mentioned in this guide, may disable the Scan Kiosk II device.
1. From the Kiosk Mode's Home screen, log on ➞ press [Administrator Settings] ➞
[Device Configuration] ➞ [Windows Admin Mode].
The Enter Maintenance Password pop-up box appears.
