Align the mark on the printer ( ) with the mark on the battery pack ( ) and
insert the left end of the battery pack into the printer at a slight angle.

Press the right side of the battery pack to lock it in place, and close the front
cover.
If you have just installed a new battery pack, you must allow it to charge before you can use
it. Just leave the AC adapter connected to the printer and the power outlet. The battery pack
will charge while the printer is turned off or on. About 4 to 6 hours are required for the
battery pack to fully charge.
Note
If you have replaced an exhausted battery pack, dispose of the battery
pack according to local regulations.
