CHANGES, THE LENSES OF THE FRONT LIGHT ASSEMBLY MAY BECOME
FOGGY.
THIS STATE IS DUE TO THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE
OUTSIDE AND THE INSIDE AND DOES NOT INDICATE A FAULT OF THE FRONT
LIGHT ASSEMBLY.
To clean off dirt and mud deposited from painted surfaces, soften caked dirt with a
low-pressure water jet. Sponge off using a car body sponge soaked in a car body
shampoo and water solution (2 ÷ 4% parts of shampoo in water). Then rinse with plenty
of water, and dry with a chamois leather. To clean the engine outer parts, use de-
greasing detergent, brushes and old cloths. Anodised or painted aluminium parts such
as forks, rims, frame, footrests etc. should be washed using water and mild soap.
Using aggressive detergents may damage the surface treatment of these compo-
