ADVICE. IF SWALLOWED, INDUCE VOMITING, RINSE MOUTH AND THROAT
WITH PLENTY OF WATER AND SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IMMEDIATELY.
Coolant solution is 50% water and 50% antifreeze fluid.
This mixture is suitable for the majority of operating temperatures and offers adequate
corrosion protection.
It is advisable to use the same mixture even in hot weather as this minimises loss due
to evaporation and the need of frequent top-ups.
This reduces the quantity of salt deposits left in the radiator by evaporating water to
ensure constant cooling system performance.
When the external temperature drops below zero degrees centigrade, check the cool-
ing system frequently and add more antifreeze solution if needed (up to 60% max.).
Use distilled water in the coolant mixture to avoid damaging the engine.
CAUTION
DO NOT REMOVE THE EXPANSION TANK PLUG «1» WHEN THE ENGINE IS
HOT, SINCE COOLANT IS UNDER PRESSURE AND VERY HOT. CONTACT WITH
