9. If it is necessary to replace the optical drive connector board:
a. Remove the Philllips PM2.0×3.0 screw (1) that secures the connector board to the optical
drive.
b. Remove the connector board (2).

Power connector cable
Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
