An Overview of the FA

About the Sampler

Your keyboard performance or the sound that's being input from an audio device or microphone can be sampled (recorded) by the sampler as audio
data.
You can play back the sampled sounds by pressing the pads. You can also import WAV/AIFF/MP3 format files and use them as samples.
Samples

is a sampled (recorded) sound together with loop settings and other data, that is assigned to one of the 16 pads.

Samples are automatically saved to the song data on the SD card when you stop sampling or when you exit the SAMPLE EDIT screen.
