. 4: Catalyst Pump Update with TSL Auto Lube System
IG
The following installation steps are necessary to insure
proper containment and flow of fresh TSL through the
PD pump wet cup area and extend the life of the primary
pump u-cup seal. Following these steps also provide
lubrication around the pump displacement rod inside of
the rod guard.
1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure in your
ProMix PD Operation manual.
2. Install the 4th pump u-cup seal (11) into the Packing
Nut with the seal lips facing upward toward the
. 4 and the PD Dosing Pumps
pump. See F
IG
manual for instructions.
3. Install the modified rod guard (13) with the four
10-32 UNF ports provided.
4. Route a single TSL line (18) to the existing reservoir
using the supplied barb fittings (17), clear
polyurethane tubing (18), and plugs (15) and
gaskets (16) as necessary.

5. Fill the TSL Reservoir and bleed air from the lower
rod to ensure the rod remains wetted during
operation. See Plumbing, page 10.
As the pump cycles, the pump displaces TSL from the
lower rod guard into the reservoir on the down stroke
and pulls fluid into the lower guard area on the upstroke.
Monitor and replace TSL in the reservoir as needed.
The majority of any catalyst seepage past the primary
pump u-cup seal will be flushed clear of the throat
cartridge by the TSL Auto Lube System.

Route and install TSL tubing per F
parts list on page 17 to ensure the correct tubing and
fittings are used for each location in F
under CSP Valve, page 8, regarding the requirement
that unused outlet ports NOT be plugged.
Use 1/4" OD fluid tubing and push-to-connect fittings:
To connect the G3 Pro Automatic Lubrication Pump
to the CSP inlet.
