Installation
Before Installation
Relieve pressure and power down the ProMix PD pump
before installing this system. Follow the Pressure Relief
Procedure in your ProMix PD Operation manual.
G3 Pro Automatic Lubrication
Pump
See G3 Pro Automatic Lubrication Pump manual for
proper installation, setup, and operation of the G3 Pro
Automatic Lubrication Pump. The G3 Pro Automatic
Lubrication Pump is tested with lightweight oil at the
factory.
CSP Valve
See the CSP Valve manual for proper installation and
operation of the CSP valve. The CSP valves are tested
with lightweight oil at the factory.
NOTICE
The CSP Valve is a precision machined device with
close-fitting internal pistons. Dirt, foreign materials,
and contaminates allowed to enter the lubricant sys-
tem can cause damage and complete restriction or
damage of the CSP Valve.
Always clean the G3 Pro reservoir fill cap area (F
2) with a clean dry cloth prior to filling reservoir. Only
use clean, fresh lubricate to prevent contamination
and damage to system.

NOTE: DO NOT plug any unused CSP divider valve
outlet ports or allow blockage of the fluid lines
downstream of the divider valve. The CSP is a series
progressive valve, which means that as fluid is pumped
into the inlet port, a series of internal precision pistons
progressively cycle while dispensing equal volumes
sequentially from the outlet ports. Blockage of ANY
outlet port will completely restrict fluid flow to all ports.
The upstream pressure will increase until the pressure
relief valve at the G3 Pro pump outlet opens. Refer to
the CSP Valve manual for alternate valve port options.
Fittings without a clamping ring cause the lubrication
.

system to fail. Clamping rings insure the proper
amount of lubrication is directed to each of the outlet
ports. Without proper fittings some lube points may
receive lower amounts or no lubrication leading to
premature failure of the PD seals.
Always use the Graco provided block outlet fittings
with clamping rings in the block outlet.
Refer to the CSP Valve manual for a complete list of
available outlet fittings.
