【J-1】 Installing the Shutter and the Stop Bracket
Assembling Instruction
1. If the hammer rail and hammer rail screws are attached (not shown in the drawing), remove them.
2. Apply bond on the junction between the hammer shank and the hammer wood following the drawing
on the right.
3. Glue GP shutter ② on the hammer shank as shown in the drawing on the right.
4. Remove screws ⑥ from action assy ① , then fasten stop rail bracket assy ③ ④ ⑤ by tighten it
together with screws ⑥ again.
＊ Install one by one as not to change the coordination of action brackets.
How to apply bond on the hammer shank
＊ Bond to use : Aron Alpha (Krazy Glue) for woodworking
＊ Apply bond on the junction between the hammer shank and the hammer wood show in Detail A.
＊ Leave it at room temperature for more than 30 minutes for recuperating.
How to apply bond on the shutter
＊ Bond to use :Cemedine Super X Clear
＊ Align to the curve of hammer shank show in Detail B.
＊ Push the shutter thoroughly as not to float.
＊ Leave it at room temperature for more than 30 minutes for recuperating.
＊ While waiting, keep leveling the hammer shank horizontality as not to be
off the shutter position.
＊ Hammer shank assy, wippen assy, keyboard, etc. are omitted in the drawing.
