3-1. DESCRIPTION OF JME-SA200
The JME-SA200 has two systems of communication paths:
. Wireless
. Wired
Wireless communication:
Communication with other JumboTron peripheral
equipment can be made by utilizing a portable telephone +
data card via PC-Card Slot.
Wired communication:
Communication with other JumboTron peripheral
equipment can be made with RS422 via a cable connected
to the CONTROL terminal (CN9).
To provide these functions, the JME-SA200 consists of the
following boards.
(1) CPU board
This board is a core unit of this set, and the CPU, program
ROM, and PC-Card Slot are mounted.

. Controls the I/O card inserted in the PC-Card Slot.
. Makes a serial communication.
. Outputs LCD display signals.
(2) SAC board
This board executes I/O processing.
. Mounts the matrix for operating the keys.
. Controls the start-up of LCD drive voltage.
. Converts serial I/F into RS422.
(3) SAP board
This board transforms the voltage input from battery into
3.3 V, 5 V, and 12 V, then outputs them.
(4) SAK board
This board repeats serial I/F signals between SAC board
and CPU board.
