In case of faults in the control lever assemblies, the system, in addition
to activating the buzzer and illuminating the fault warning light (B,
see page 51), auto-selects the automatic mode and any further gearshift
commands will be ignored, including "N" and "R".
If the malfunction persists, contact the F
malfunction corrected.

The CST is deactivated. Vehicle stability is no longer control-
led, but is completely in the hands of the driver. The only aux-
iliary systems still active are those that cannot be deactivated,
such as ABS and EBD. Pressing the brake pedal reactivates the
CST system, while the F1-S system remains disabled. The gear-
shifting speed (vehicles with F1 gearbox) and damping control
remain the same as in SPORT mode.
