Checking the brake fluid level
• To access the tank, you must open the engine compartment lid (see
page 90).
• After removing the cap, make sure the fluid in the tank is just below
the upper tank surface.
• If the level is low, top up with the prescribed oil from a sealed
container, and contact a service centre of the Ferrari Service
Network to have the system checked.
The oil contained in the brake, clutch and power
steering systems, besides damaging plastic, rubber and
painted parts, is highly dangerous if it comes into contact
with the eyes or the skin.
In case of contact, wash the affected part thoroughly
with running water. To avoid any risk, always use
protective goggles and gloves.
Keep away from children!
Never dispose of used fluid in the environment!

The symbol on the tank, indicates the presence of a synthetic fluid in
the system.
The use of mineral-based fluids will cause irreparable
damage to the system rubber gaskets.
Do not use fluids other than those already contained in the
system for topping up.
• Once the system has been topped up, screw on the cap and close the
engine compartment lid.
