7. Power on the Second Stage unit(s), then power on the First Stage unit.
8. Turn on the power to all the servers.
Note: The Power On sequence requires that all Second Stage switches be
powered on first. After all Second Stage switches are powered on,
the First Stage switch can be powered on. After all the switches are
powered on, the servers can be powered on.

Note: 1. The diagram above shows an installation with the CM1164A and
KN2140VA. Installing other KN Series switches is same with the
only difference being that they provide fewer KVM ports.
2. Installing the KN Series switches with the CM1284 is the same with
the only difference being that CM1284 uses HDMI interface. A DVI
to HDMI adapter is required for the KVM over IP Switches in a
complete two-stage installation with the CM1284.
