Method of Error The rotation speed detected by the Hall IC during fan motor operation is used to determine
abnormal fan motor operation.
Detection
Error Decision
The detected rotation speed does not reach the demanded rotation speed of the target tap, and
Conditions is less than 50% of the maximum fan motor rotation speed.

 Remarkable decrease in power supply voltage
Causes  Layer short inside the fan motor winding
 Breaking of wire inside the fan motor
 Breaking of the fan motor lead wires
 Defective capacitor of the fan motor
 Defective indoor unit PCB

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
Caution
connectors, or parts may be damaged.

(Unplug the power cable or turn
the breaker off.)

Rotate the fan by hand.
