To install the M320 router using a mechanical lift, you need the following tools:
Mechanical lift
Phillips (+) screwdrivers, number 2
M320 Chassis Lifting Guidelines on page 216
M320 Cabinet Size and Clearance Requirements on page 46
M320 Chassis Description on page 6
Because of the router's size and weight—up to 439 lb (199.6 kg) depending on the
configuration—we strongly recommend that you install the router using a mechanical
lift.
Before installing the router in the rack:
The "M320 Site Preparation Checklist Requirements" on page 41 summarizes the tasks
you need to perform when preparing a site for router installation.
Remove the router from the shipping crate as described in "Unpacking the M320 Router"
on page 50.
To avoid harm to yourself or the router as you install and maintain it, follow the guidelines
for working with and near electrical equipment, as well as the safety procedures for
