NOTE: Each power supply must be connected to a dedicated AC power feed
and a dedicated 15 A (250 VAC) circuit breaker. For information about
connecting to AC power sources, see "M320 AC Power Cord Specifications"
on page 253.
To connect the AC power cords to the router, attach the power cords from each AC power
source to the AC appliance inlet on the faceplate of each power supply (see Figure 54
on page 97):
Locate the power cords shipped with the router, which should have a plug appropriate

for your geographical location (see "M320 AC Power Cord Specifications" on page 253).
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Verify that the source power cabling and the grounding cabling are correct, that they

are not touching or blocking access to router components, and that they do not drape
where people could trip on them.
Switch the power switch on the power supply faceplate to the off position (

Insert the appliance coupler end of a power cord into the appliance inlet on the power

supply faceplate.
Remove the cable restraint from the right edge of the power supply faceplate by

removing its retainer screw.
Wrap the cable restraint around the power cord, then slide it along the power cord to

a position that enables you to reinstall it in the power supply faceplate.
Reinstall the cable restraint by tightening its retainer screw partway into the power
8.
supply faceplate.
