AC97 Audio/Modem: This item allows you to decide to enable/disable the 810 chipset
family to support AC97 Audio/Modem.(* If you don't have Modem/Riser card, you will find a
PCI card with a "!" mark in "OTHER DEVICE " under" Device Manager". You can solve this
problem by disable "AC97 Modem" under "Integrated Peripherals" option of the BIOS.)
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
IDE HDD Block Mode: Block mode is also called block transfer, multiple commands, or
multiple sector read/write. If your IDE hard drive supports block mode (most new drives
do), select Enabled for automatic detection of the optimal number of block read/writes per
sector the drive can support.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled
Power on Function : Select Keyboard (Hot Key / Pass word) / PS/2 Mouse Power on
Function.
The choice: BUTTON ONLY, Keyboard 98, Password, Hot Key, Mouse Left, Mouse Right,
Any Key.
Keyboard password: Please refer to page 43 setting hardware for this function .
HotKey Power: This is an option to select the conbination of keys to turn on your
computer . Please refer to page 43 setting hardware for this function .
The choice: Ctrl+F1 to Ctrl+F12
Onboard FDC Controller: Select Enabled if your system has a floppy disk controller
(FDC) installed on the system board and you wish to use it. If you install and-in FDC or the
system has no floppy drive, select Disabled in this field.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
Onboard Serial Port 1/Port 2: Select an address and corresponding interrupt for the first
and second serial ports.
The choice: 3F8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2F8/IRQ3, Disabled, Auto.
UART Mode Select: The Default setting is Normal.
IRDA: HP Standard Mode IR.
ASKIR: ASK standard Mode IR.
Onboard Parallel port: This field allows the user to select the LPT port. The default value
is 378H.
378H:
Enable Onboard LPT port and address is 378H.
278H:
Enable Onboard LPT port and address is 278H.
3BCH:
Enable Onboard LPT port and address is 3BCH.
Disabled: Disable Onboard CHIP's LPT port.
