Snow tyres should be installed on all

wheels of the vehicle.
Do not drive with the snow tyres in-

correctly inflated.
Observe permissible maximum speed

for your snow tyres and the legal
speed limit (whichever is lower).
TYRE CHAIN SELECTION
Use the tyre chains of correct size.
Use the following type chains.
A Diameter of side chain
B Width of side chain
C Length of side chain
D Diameter of cross chain
E Width of cross chain
F Length of cross chain
NOTICE
If the wrong combination of tyre and
chain is used, the chains could damage
the vehicle body.

CHAIN INSTALLATION
Install the chains on the front tyres as
tightly as possible. Do not use tyre chains
on the rear tyres. Retighten chains after
driving 0.5—1.0 km.
When installing chains on your tyres, care-
fully follow the instructions of the chain
manufacturer.
If wheel covers are used, they will be
scratched by the chain band, so remove the
covers before putting on the chains.
CAUTION
Do not use tyre chains on the rear

tyres.
When using tyre chains:
D
Do not exceed 50 km/h or the chain
D
manufacturer's recommended speed
limit, whichever is lower.
Drive carefully avoiding bumps,
D
holes, and sharp turns, which may
cause the vehicle to bounce.
Avoid sharp turns or locked-wheel
D
braking as use of chains may ad-
versely affect vehicle handling.
Slow down before entering curves
D
to avoid losing control of the vehi-
cle, otherwise an accident may
occur.
