Set the VMA specific N2 address using the N2 switches or via
VBT or HVAC PRO programs. Use Addresses 1-253 only.
Addresses 0 and 255 are reserved for software addressing, and
Address 254 may not be used.
For example, if the N2 address is 17 (decimal), the binary
representation is 00010001. Switches 16 and 1 set to the
On position (16 + 1 = 17). See the N2 Address Switches topic in
the Key Concepts section for more information on software
addressing.
If using software addressing, set all switches to 00 (all Off) or
255 (all On). Use the HVAC PRO program or the VBT program,
connected to the Zone Bus, to set the desired address. This must
be done before connecting the VMA1400 controller to the
N2 network.
Note:
Make sure the switches are pressed fully to the required
position.
