Preparatory work
–
Remove the seat. (

Remove positive terminal cover

Disconnect negative cable

Connect a charger to the 12 V battery. Switch on the battery
charger.

Info
You can also use the battery charger to test the open-
circuit voltage and starting ability of the 12-V battery,
and to test the alternator. In addition, you cannot over-
charge the 12-V battery with this device.

Charge the 12-V battery to a maximum of 10 % of the
capacity specified on the battery housing.
–
Switch off the battery charger after charging and disconnect
from the 12-V battery.
Guideline
The charging current, charging voltage, and charging time
must not be exceeded.
Recharge the 12-V battery
