5. Adjust the drive track deflection to spec-
ification. NOTICE: The right and left ad-
justing nuts should be turned an equal
amount.

6. Recheck alignment and deflection. If
necessary, repeat steps 3 to 5 until the
proper adjustment is achieved.
7. Lower the snowmobile to the ground.
8. Tighten the rear axle nut.
Rear axle nut tightening torque:
75 Nm (7.5 m·kgf, 54 ft·lbf)
Slide runners
Check the slide runners for wear and dam-
age.
If the slide runners reach the wear limit, they
should be replaced.
