Device ID Assignment for BACnet/IP Devices
For devices connecting over BACnet/IP, Tracer SC+ calculates the device ID with the following:

For BACnet MS/TP Network numbers higher than 4190,TTrraacceerr SSCC++ will not be able follow
this scheme and will not propose a Device ID for the unit controller. The controller can be installed
with the Device ID number previously assigned to it.
Note: It is very important to avoid duplication of BACnet network numbers or device IDs.
