5. Make sure you are using the correct paper size. The tray can
accommodate only A4 size paper. Also make sure you are
using paper that meets the specifications for this printer.
6. Set the paper-tray back into the 500-Sheet Lower Paper
Cassette Unit A4.
7. Open and then close the printer cover. The jammed page's
print data is automatically reprinted.

Operational Problems

The Ready light (green) does not turn on when you turn the
printer on

The printer may not be
connected to the electrical
outlet.

What to do
Turn off the printer and check the power
cable connections between the printer
and the electrical outlet; then turn the
printer back on.
If the electrical outlet is controlled by an
outside source such as a wall switch,
make sure the switch is turned on or
plug another electrical device into the
outlet to check whether the outlet is
operating properly.
