 Modbus I/O variables
Define variables in the I/O mapping of Modbus Slave.
By defining variables into I/O Mapping, data communication with Modbus Master will be carried out.
1
On the Devices window, double click the Modbus Slave device icon to open Device
Configuration window.
2
Open [I/O Mapping] tab.
3
Allocate "mDO0", "mDO1", respectively to "Bit0" and "Bit1" in Inputs [0], as well as "mDI0", and
"mDI1" respectively to "Bit0" and "Bit1" in Outputs [0].
You can see that variables for output in Inputs Mapping area, and variables for input in
Outputs Mapping area are defined. This means Master inputs for Slave in Inputs Mapping
area, and Slave outputs for Master in Outputs Mapping area.
