: Push home the handlebars (1, 2)
as far as stop.
: Insert screws (3) from the
outboard side, fit new
locknuts (4) and tighten them
down firmly.

Handle Frame

– Remove the padding.
– Remove the engine, b 7.1

: Unscrew the locknuts (1) from
the AV housings (2) and take out
the screws (3)
– always install new locknuts.
: Check the handle frame (4),
replace if necessary
Installing

: Position the handle frame (1) so
that the hole (arrow) is at the
same side as the handle.
: Fit the handle tube (3) complete
with AV housings (2) on the
handle frame (1) so that the
inboard fixing pins of the AV
housings engage the holes in the
handle frame.
: Insert screws (4) from outboard
side, fit new locknuts (5) and
tighten them down firmly – do not
overtighten because the AV
housings may otherwise be
damaged.
– Install the engine, b 7.1
