Shroud

– Remove the engine, b 7.1
– Pull boot off the spark plug.

: Take out the screw (1)
: Inspect the air guide shroud (2),
replace it if necessary, b 7.2.1

: Use T27x15x75 screwdriver
0812 370 1004 to take out the
screws (1) and remove the
shroud (2), pushing the spark
plug boot through the opening at
the same time.

Installing

: Place the shroud (1) in position
and push the spark plug boot (2)
through the opening.
: Push the shroud (1) into place so
that the tabs (arrows) engage
between the crankcase (3) and
fan housing (4).
: Insert and tighten down the
screws (5) firmly.

: Fit the boot (1) on the spark plug
and position it so that the rubber
lip covers the opening (arrows)
and locates against the shroud.

: Take out the screw (1)
: Disconnect the air guide
shroud (2) from the slots (arrows)
and lift it away.
– Inspect the air guide shroud and
replace if necessary.
Installing

: Engage lugs (2) of air guide
shroud (1) in the slots so that the
holes (arrows) are in alignment.
: Fit air guide shroud (1) by
hooking the lugs (3) to the air
slots.
– Insert screw and tighten it down
firmly.
