6. Remove the battery box.
7. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.1.1.10 To remove and install the side covers
1. Remove the seat. Refer to
page 8 .
2. Remove the fenders. Refer to
the right fender on page 19 and To remove and
install the left fender on page 19 .
3. Remove the 2 screws on each side cover and
remove the side covers.
4. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.1.1.11 To remove the engine cover
1. Release the clips on the engine cover.
2. Fold the engine cover rearward.

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to
engine cover on page 21 .
2. Remove the 2 screws.
3. Remove the engine side covers.

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to
engine cover on page 21 .
2. Remove the engine side covers. Refer to
the engine side covers R115C on page 21 .
3. Remove the 2 screws (A).
4. Remove the fuel tank cap (B).
5. Remove the fuel tank cover (C).
