3. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.1.1.5 To remove the right footrest plate
1. Remove the knob on the reverse pedal.
2. Remove the right fender. Refer to
install the right fender on page 19 .
3. Remove the 2 screws and remove the footrest plate.
4. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.1.1.6 To remove the left footrest plate
1. Remove the left fender. Refer to
install the left fender on page 19 .
2. Remove the 2 screws and remove the footrest plate.

9.1.1.7 To remove the frame tunnel cover
1. Remove the 3 screws.
2. Lift the frame tunnel cover.
9.1.1.8 To remove and install the frame cover
1. Tilt the seat forward.
2. Remove the 2 screws and pull the frame cover from
the frame.
3. Install in the opposite sequence.
9.1.1.9 To remove and install the battery box
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
the frame tunnel cover on page 20 .
2. Tilt the seat forward.
3. Disconnect the battery. Refer to
install the battery on page 34 .
4. Remove the battery.
5. Remove the frame cover. Refer to
install the frame cover on page 20 .
