Step 4. RAID Array Background Initialization Process

The completion of the system driver installation will start the RAID
array initialization process. This process may take several hours,
but it does not interfere with the installation of 3DM or the use of
the array.

Step 5. Install 3DM

Install 3DM for Windows or Linux from the 3DM installation CD-
ROM.
Windows
a:\setup from Run... in the Start menu.
Linux
mount /dev/hdc /mnt
cd /mnt
./install.3dm
Answer questions concerning e-mail notification and the port num-
ber for WEB monitoring.
cd /
umount /mnt
Note:
notification, separate e-mail addresses using a comma.
