The handle to recline the back of the driver's seat
Never adjust the driver's seat or
seatback when the vehicle is moving.
You could lose control of the vehicle
and injure someone.
Always drive and ride with your
seatback upright and the lap belt
snug across the hips to reduce the
risk of serious injury to the abdomen
or neck that could be caused by
sliding under the safety belts in a
collision.
Luggage or other cargo should not be
piled higher than the seatbacks. This
will help keep items from being
thrown about and injuring people in
a collision or sudden stop.
