How to insert a CD
Inserting a CD
LOAD
1. Briefly press the "LOAD" button. On the
display, the disc number assigned to the
disc you are going to insert and the
"LOAD" indicator will blink.
2. As soon as the "LOAD" indicator be-
gins to blink, insert the disc. The disc will
be automatically drawn in, and the player
will begin to play back the first track on the
disc.
To insert multiple CDs one after an-
other

1. Press the "LOAD" button for 1 second
or longer. You will hear a bleep.
2. The display will show "ALL LOAD".
3. Insert the CDs one at a time.
4. Playback will begin with the CD that
was inserted first.
If you do not insert any disc in 15 seconds
after pressing the "LOAD" button, the
player will begin to play the first track on
the last disk you inserted.
The disc indicator steadily lights up if a
disc is already inserted in the correspond-
ing position in the magazine.
If you press any of the other mode but-
tons ("BAND" and "TAPE") while the play-
er is in the loading mode, the player will

enter the standby mode. Press the "CD"
button to start playback.
Inserting a disc in a desired position
LOAD
1. Briefly press the "LOAD" button. If the
magazine in the player has an empty po-
sition where you can insert a disc, the disc
number corresponding to the empty posi-
tion will blink.
Any position whose indicator is steadily il-
luminated already contains a disc.
2. Press the disc select button for the po-
sition where you want to insert a disc. The
corresponding disc number will flash.
To insert more discs in succession, re-
peat steps 1 and 2. The magazine will be
loaded with discs in the ascending order
of position number.
