The term AIO means 'All-in-One'. All image creation components are in one
easily-replaceable unit.
Overview
The AIO cartridge contains the
OPC (Organic Photoconductor)
drum, development unit,
cleaning unit, charge roller, and
waste toner disposal area.
The toner is mono-component
(no carrier).
Waste toner from the OPC drum
goes to the area at the top of the
AIO and is discarded when the
AIO is changed.
