Adding the gear oil

Too little gear oil or poor-quality gear oil results in premature wear to the transmission.

Oil drain plug with
magnet

Remove filler plug with the O-ring, and fill up with gear oil.
Gear oil

Mount and tighten filler plug
Danger
Danger of poisoning Exhaust gases are toxic and inhal-
ing them may result in unconsciousness and death.
–
Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation
when running the engine.
–
Use effective exhaust extraction when starting or
running the engine in an enclosed space.
–
Start the engine and check for leaks.
Finishing work

Check the gear oil level. (
Preparatory work
–
Stand the motorcycle upright on a horizontal surface.
Main work
–

Remove screw with the seal ring.
–

Remove filler plug with the O-ring.
–
Add gear oil up to the bottom edge of the hole of the gear oil
level plug.
Engine oil (15W/50) (

Mount and tighten screw
