Parameter Description
Counting direction Select the counting direction of the counter:
- Forward
- Backward
Counter reset at If this parameter is enabled, the parameter is set to the initial
limit value value when reaching the limit value.
- Disabled
- Enabled
Counting direction forward:
Sets the counter value to "0" when reaching the limit value.
Counting direction backward:
Sets the counter value to the initial value when reaching "0"
Filter time Set the input filter for the measured signals. The following op‐
tions are available:
- off ①
- 10 µs
- 25 µs
- 50 µs
- 100 µs
- 200 µs
- 1 ms
- 3 ms

The starting/limit value can only be set via the process data and within a val‐
ue range from 0 to 65535. The starting/limit value is used as starting value or
as reference to control the switching output. Presetting: 32768.
In case of a short circuit, the field supply is switched off for 1,000 ms. The
field supply is subsequently switched on again. If the short circuit remains,
the procedure is repeated.
Some field bus couplers provide the "System Parameter Handling" function.
This function detects configuration changes at the IndraControl S67 node
and is used for the automatic module parameterization. If a module is to be
replaced due to a defect, the new module does not have to be parameter‐
ized. The stored parameters are automatically applied to the replaced mod‐
ule.
During a firmware update of the S67-DIO4-HS-M12 module, the stored mod‐
ule parameters can be overwritten. Thus, check the parameterization after a
firmware update.
