To set the MGate card's DIP switches

1 Remove the MGate card from its protective sleeve.
2 Set the DIP switches on the MGate card as shown in Table 5 on page 44.
These DIP switch settings are used for all MGate cards and all system
configurations.

To install the MGate card

1 Remove the Media Gateway or Media Gateway Expansion cover.
2 Ensure that the slot in which you are installing the MGate does not already have
a cable connected.
3 Press and pull the top and bottom latches on the MGate card outward to open
the latches for installation of the card.
A hook on the bottom of the latch must clear a small pin to open. Refer to
Figure 8 on page 45.
