Adding a Third-Party IO-Device to a LAN

To add a third-party IO-Device to a LAN, in the Navigator right-click on the connected
IC695PNC001 module and select Add IO-Device. Select the module in the PROFINET Device
Catalog and click Have GSDML:

To be included in the system configuration, any third-party IO-Device requires a GSDML file.
The GSDML file for the device must be present on the computer being used for the
configuration.

Provide a filename path to the file and click OK. The device is added to the configuration.
Machine Edition extracts necessary parameters from the GSDML file and makes the data
available for editing within Machine Edition.
