Resetting the Speakerphone with the Softkeys
(When Powering Up the 8405D Plus Voice Terminal)
Important: You can use the Reset Speakerphone feature only if your voice terminal
has the Reset Spkr label printed under the

When you first power up the 8405D Plus voice terminal, the following display
appears.
When you reset the speakerphone on your voice terminal, you hear a set of tones as
the speakerphone performs an acoustic test of the environment. When the tones
stop, your speakerphone has finished adjusting itself for optimal performance and is
ready for use. For more information about the Reset Speakerphone feature, see
"Reset Speakerphone" in the section Voice Feature Procedures later in this guide.
To reset the speakerphone
(when those 8405D Plus
voice terminals with the
