Adjusting the Camera

Press the CANCEL button on the Remote Commander
repeatedly.
The menu disappears from the monitor screen.
To adjust brightness automatically
Select AUTO in step 4.
To shoot with the backlight function
When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the
subject, use the backlight function.

Press the MENU button on the Remote Commander.
The Menu (System Configuration Index 1/3) menu
appears on the monitor screen.

Select CAMERA SETUP with the joy stick, then press it.
The Camera Setting menu appears on the monitor screen.

Select BACKLIGHT with the joy stick, then press it.
The BACKLIGHT items appear on the monitor screen.

Select ON with the joy stick, then press it.
The backlight function is activated.

Press the EXEC button on the Remote Commander.

Presetting Angle, Zoom, and Brightness Settings

You can store the camera settings in memory up to six, and
each preset has the angle, zoom, and brightness settings.
Once a setting has been stored, you can easily recall a setting
from the six presets.
To store a setting

Set up angle, zoom, and brightness.
For details on the angle and zoom settings, see "Adjusting
the Camera Angle and Zoom" on page 38, and on the
brightness setting, see"Adjusting Focus and Brightness"
on page 39.

Press down the PRESET button on the Remote
Commander, then press one of the letter buttons (A to F,
under which you want to store the setting) on the Remote
Commander.
The setting will be stored under the selected letter.
Note
Once you preset, the focus setting automatically switches to
auto focus.
