4-13. Thread tension

WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

1) Needle thread tension
Turn thread tension nut No. 2 ❶ clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to reduce the needle thread
tension.
2) Bobbin thread tension
Turn tension adjusting screw ❷ clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to reduce the bobbin thread
tension.
