The error screen displays an error code. Check details and
remedies for error codes in the table below to troubleshoot
issues.

Proxy server settings
Error code
8000 200A Error connecting to remote monitoring service:
• TCP/IP communication failure
• IP address for this device not set
8000 200B Failed resolving address for remote monitoring
server
8000 2014 The set address is not valid and the machine
cannot connect to the proxy server
8000 2015 The proxy server address is registered with the
host name, but connection to the designated
server is not possible with the name resolution
8000 201E Failed authenticating to proxy server

To use a proxy server, make proxy settings and
check the status of the proxy server.
Check that the network the machine is
connected to is an environment that can
connect to the Internet.
Check and reset the IP address/port number for
the proxy server.
• Check the host name of the proxy server and
the DNS setting.
• Set the proxy server with an IP address.
Check and reset the username and password for
logging in to the proxy server.
