Step 2 Connect to a wired LAN/wireless LAN
Connecting by wired LAN
The machine does not come with a LAN cable. Please have one ready.

In the Home screen, press <Menu>.

Select <Preferences> <Network> <Select Wired/
Wireless LAN>.
Contact the network administrator for the system manager
ID and security code (set to "7654321" by default).

In the <Select LAN> screen, press <Wired LAN>.

Connect the LAN cable.
• Use the LAN cable to connect the machine to the
router.
• Press inward until the connector is all the way in the
slot and clicks.
Once connected, continue by setting a fixed IP address. P.34 "Step 3 Set a fixed IP address"
