Result
The following figure shows the result of the configuration in HW Config. The distributed I/O is
connected to the PROFINET IO system. The physical setup is configured below with the
Topology Editor.
Connecting the components with the Topology Editor
1. Select the PROFINET IO System of the first CPU of this automation system.
2. Select the Edit > PROFINET IO > Topology menu command.
The "Topology Editor" dialog box opens.
