Replacement of Head Harness
1. Remove head harness assembly by pulling down and outward on the bottom of the head harness assembly until it clears the bottom of the
facepiece (Fig. 19).
2. Lift the head harness assembly away from the facepiece.
3. Replace head harness assembly by positioning the ledge on the head harness assembly into the notch at the top of the facepiece (Fig. 20, #1).
4. Press the bottom of the head harness assembly into the facepiece (Fig. 20, #2). When properly engaged, an audible snap should be heard.
Inhalation Valve Replacement
The inhalation valve is located on the inside of the facepiece above the exhalation valve.
NOTE: The inhalation and exhalation valves are the same design, replacement part HF-800-02.
1. Remove inhalation valve by grasping valve and pulling valve off the center post (Fig. 21).
2. Replace valve by aligning the valve stem with the hole in the center of the valve seat (Fig. 22).
3. Press the valve post through the hole in the valve seat (Fig. 23). Be certain valve is fully engaged through valve post and lays flat against the valve
seat.
