Crank Assy

Inspection of crank Assy
Wear of bearings due to frequent usage and
invasion of water may damage bearings etc.
and prevent smooth rotation of the roller.
Inspect and replace the parts such as the
bearings.
Confirm that there is no crack in the upper
housing, crank bracket, and crank bracket
A.
Make sure that there is no wear or damage
of the drive shaft nor crank shaft.
Make sure that there is no wear or rust of
the bearing.
Make sure that there is no play in the fit of
the shaft and the bearing.
Confirm that there is no play in the upper
housing nor bearing.
Confirm that there is no play in the crank
bracket, crank bracket, nor drive shaft.

Remove the crank Assy from the machine.
See "Removal of crank Assy" (Page 4-11) .
2.
Remove the cotter pin from the cotter pin
from the slotted nut, and then the slotted
nut and disc spring.
See "Crank Assy layout" (Page 4-10) .
