Dismantling the brake pedal axle

1. Remove the cutting unit. (See page 92)
2. Remove the spring (2) and take off the parking
brake lever (5) and screw (3).
3. Remove the brake pedal (7).
A. Remove the nut (4) and washer.
B. Move the brake pedal (7) up from the brake
pedal axle (1) and remove the key (6).
4. Remove the split-pin (9) and washer, and
remove the brake rod (12).
5. Remove the split-pins (10) and move the brake
pedal axle (1) to one side.
6. Remove the lever (13).
7. Remove the spring (8) from the lever (13).

Mounting the brake pedal axle

1. Fit the spring (8) on the lever (13).
2. Insert the brake pedal axle (1) and put on the
washer (15), actuating arm for the clutch
microswitch (11), washer (14) and fit the
lever (13).
3. Move the washers (14) and (15) to their correct
positions and fit the split-pins (10).
4. Fit the brake rod (12), washer and split-pin (9).
5. Fit the parking brake lever (5) and the screw (3).
6. Place the key (6) in the keyway of the brake
pedal and fit the brake pedal, washer and
nut (4).
7. Fit the cutting unit. (See page 100)
