Removing the cutting unit from
the machine
Dismantling
1. Lower the cutting unit to its lowest cutting
position.
2. Loosen the nut (2) to relieve the spring (1).
3. Remove the split-pins (4) and (7).
4. Remove the split-pins (5) and (6) and take the
plate off the cutting unit.
CAUTION
Take out the grass discharge chute
carefully from the rear of the tractor to
avoid damaging the microswitch.
5. Hook the grass discharge chute from the guide
pins (3) and (8). Then carefully move out the
grass discharge chute about 10 cm at the rear of
the machine.
6. Move the cutting unit 10 cm backwards along
the ground, and remove the tension spring (9)
from the spring bracket (10).
7. Move the cutting unit forward 10 cm along the
ground, and remove the drive belt (11) from the
idler pulley and belt pulley (12) of the cutting
unit.
8. Move the cutting unit out to one side of the
machine.
