Changing the lower link and elbow
joint
Dismantling
1. Remove the rear plate. (See page 72)
2. Remove the split-pin (1) and washer, and
remove the lower link (2).
3. Remove the elbow joint (4) from the lower lever
(5), and remove the lower link (2).
4. Replace defective parts.
Mounting
1. Fit the lower link (2) to the elbow joint (4) so that
the distance between nut and elbow joint is 39
mm.
2. Fit the lower link (2) with the washer and split-
pin (1).
3. Fit the elbow joint (4) to the lower lever (5).
4. Secure the elbow joint (4) with the locknut (3)
and check that the distance is 39 mm.
5. Check the settings. (See page 78-79)
6. Fit the rear plate. (See page 79)
